oc xeon
Go to solution
Solved by i_build_nanosuits,
You can boost them up a little with the BCLK, but it doesn't go very high usually.
While it's true that bclk overclocking does not give anywhere near the results you can achieve from a unlocked multiplier, socket 2011 chips on a good quality X99 board can go a long way...it's usualy more capable than Z97.All of you lie! You can. Overclock a xeon, just not with the multiplier. You have to overclock the bclck or base clock, and it doesn't offer as large of over clocks as the multiplier.
