Max Temps

Hello folks. 

 

In your opinion what is the max acceptable temp for a gtx 980?

CPU - i7 8700K / Motherboard - ROG Strix Z370 E/ RAM - 32GB Cosair Vengeance DDR / GPU  - GTX 1080ti - EVGA FTW3 / PSU - Seasonic Snow Silent 750W / Cooling - Cryorig H7 Monitor - Acer X34 Predator / Sound - Corsair Void - Case - Meshify C

the same as any other max temp for a gpu... to me, passing 85-90 would be iffy

but in all honesty, a 980 really shouldnt be getting all that hot regardless of safe temps, it should be perfectly fine as long as you dont hit the fans with the quick get rekt and rip em out ja feel

For me about 75C max

I am getting 71c on mine.

That is acceptable under load
