Thinking about getting a UPS for my computer, due to our area having regular power outages.

Is this a good one?

MY system  has a 550w PSU.

I plan on only conecting my system to the battery, the monitors and other things just conected to the surge protector.

Also, is there anything cheaper (that is still good)

avalible?

I never really understood how PSU voltage intakes work. Is it 500w/hour 500w/min idk

but anyhow it should give you enough time to shut off your PC

That one looks pretty good, It has a Simulated sinus wave and not a fake "sinus wave"(When it is choppy) And they also specify it is commonly used for tech.

Id say go for it.

Puny batter, you'll probably have like ~10 minutes or so of typical runtime.

That would be fine, it has auto shut off pc feture

But isn't that enough ??? I mean like UPS are used to save your work when there is a power outage.

A tiny UPS like that is not designed to give you as much run time but give you time to power down critical systems.
