They are really awesome.

They last longer, they feel comfortable to type with, and the best thing about them is there is a switch for everyone.

Yes. When 989347893486 people love something, that's usually an indicator.

Another (even bigger indicator) is you probably HAVEN'T heard someone say: I hate mechanical keyboards.

If they have, it's probably because his/her grandma died while they were typing on it (or a like-scenario) and just hold it against the item.

But yeah man.. I absolutely love mine. There's nothing to not love about mechanical keyboards.. They're designed better looking, gaming focused, with better materials, much sturdier and harder to break, they have most of the features and.. oh yeah.. They feel great, mechanically.

The only downside to mechanical keyboards that I can think of is that they are usually much more expensive than membrane ones.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X            | Cooler: Deepcool AK400  | Motherboard: B550 Elite AX V2  | Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB  |

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB   | GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti    | Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)    | PSU: EVGA 650W G2             |

I do have one problem with k-series non RGB keyboards. The led's on them aren't exactly the longest lasting. My k95 looks like it's got the pox, there's so many dead LED's

ok gr8

now please tell me what should i know about mechanical keyboards

those RGB and reds and browns

i really dunno what that is xD

ty

Red switches, are very light, low actuation pressure with minimal needed movement. Brown's are probably the closest tactile switch to reds. They add a tactile "bump" at the point of actuation.

My advice to anyone thinking of buying a mechanical keyboard is try before you buy. See if you can find somewhere with a variety of switches, try them out, pick the one's you like best, then choose a keyboard that has the features you want, and supports the switches you like.

IMO it's far more important to have switches suited to you, than pretty colours.
