970 all the way!  AMD's GPUs are coming though, you might want to wait for them to see what is offered.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

A 290X would be perfect here. I wouldn't recommend the 970 anymore because of all the things it went through (I wish I could).

Single beefier GPUs are better off against dual GPU setups.

But OP would have to wait till June... If he wants to build now he might not exactly have that option.

The 970 option would be the best. Getting a 970 and overclocking it will get the same results as you would using a stock 980. Try getting it now if you can while the witcher 3 promotion lasts.
