Ever since i cleaned out my fans with pressurized air and a cuetip, i can barely hear them. Did i break my fan so it will not turn past a certain speed? The fan looks exactly the same as it did before, just without all the dust. Reasoning for not being in troubleshooting: ITS A FAN

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

So you cleaned your fan and now it runs quieter? Could be a result of being more efficient, without having all of that dust in the way. Are the temps fine?

The tempuratures are the same. People in the other thread of mine said that CLEANING IT WOULD HELP THEY SAID, THERE WOULD BE A DIFFERENCE THEY SAID

maybe you should MAINTAIN and PROPERLY clean your hardware and NOT blame others for it.

Well, the temperatures could be an effect of the predefined fan curve. Unless if they are high, its fine. Use smcFanControl to see if you can force the fan at a higher speed.

Maybe the fan doesn't need to work as hard to keep the same temperature... There's no point for it to be spinning as fast as it was before for it to be a couple degrees cooler...

Setup: i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz, Corsair H100i Cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram @ 1600 Mhz, MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard, Corsair GS700 2013 edition PSU, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, Samsung EVO 120 SSD + 2TB&1TB Seagate Barracudas, BenQ XL2411T Monitor, Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones + AntLion ModMic 4.0

I installed SMC fan control, neat app, and it turns out thats just the noise it fixed. at the max RPM 6,200, it was making barely as much noise as it had before

Did you just clean the fan or the heatsink/fin array, the difference in temps would come mostly from cleaning the heatsink itself. As for the fan going at a lower speed it may be because you cleaned it, it doesn't need to spin as fast to get the same amount of cooling, like others have said.
