A pair of 970s in SLI

But id rather recommend a pair of R9 290s in Crossfire, 3 monitors will eat your Vram, And games will use More and More Vram so that last 0,5gb will make a difference in the end.

Pretty much every single modern game works great with SLI and it matters huge what resolution is being played. Sli'd 970`s blow the 980 out of the water, and if you are playing 1440p or 4k you will need and want the extra firepower.

980 for the upgradeability,

Or wait for 300 series and get 2 of their equivalent of the 970, which will more than likely have 4 whole gigabytes of Vram.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Or, if you don't mind getting soon to be outdated technology, go with a 49 295x2.
