For a dual 1080p Display, would you guys recommend 2-way SLI 770's or one GTX 970? I'm seriously considering the SLI for the cores and multi-display capabilities in case I get more displays in the future. I won't be gaming across multiple monitors. I will only game on one, but again, I'm just asking. Which do you guys think is more worth?

One 970. You'll have the chance to buy another one in the future and running multiple idle monitors is definitely not demanding. Or, you know just get a 290 and have a great card for cheap as hell.

I was considering this because then I wouldn't need a bigger power supply then what I was originally going for. And I don't want AMD Cards because I need CUDA Acceleration :C

You'll become vram limited in some games & in the near future with two 770 2GB's. Because of that, and all the issues you get from SLI (extra heat, unoptimization, etc), I'd get a 290x/970 instead.

How long do you think it will be until 2GB becomes insufficient for 1080p?

Already is for some games (maxed out), I'd say by the end of 2015 most new AAA titles will need more than 2GB vram to run at ultra, just a prediction though.

Then get the single 970 for the future upgradability ;)

A 770 costs damn near the same as a 970 so ya go for the 970.

This, games this year are definitely going to be stretching what you need in terms of VRAM. Witcher 3, GTA V, I would be surprised if these games could be maxed effectively with (a) 2gb card/s.
