Keeping it close to $100 was a little hard but I think this should be okay.

Just get your self a good mechanical keyboard (Ducky!), no need for the whole "gaming" name attached.

I know people who have "Gaming" keyboards with macro keys and they never use them at all.

A good keyboard is a good keyboard!

As for a mouse, get a mouse that fits you and you will be comfortable with.  You will be the one using it so you should be the one picking it out, not someone on the internet who probably has a different size and shape hand and a different grip. These little thing make a huge difference.

Personally the most comfortable mouse for me was a Logitech G600 because I am a palmer and have medium-large hands.

Here are my keyboard choices for you

I completely agree with you. :)

It is true that maybe a mouse is great for someone and terrible for someone else because of personal preference. I use a G600 too I love it  ^_^

It was the only mouse that fit my hand perfectly, but i liked it so I didnt care at all.

When those people say that you wont use all the buttons on the mouse they were wrong, in my case.  I have a button on my mouse for all of my web browsing needs.
