ESD damage symptoms?

Go to solution Solved by Altecice,

Yep as above, if it posts and the computer works (give it a quick benchmark test for the GPU) and if everything is ok then laugh it off and take it as a life lesson. (same applies if its broken)

Okay so I tried this post over on Toms Hardware but since that thread is dead and I still want a second opinion here we go, so while plugging in my replacement hard drive I accidentally touched the GPU shocking it. But I'm not here to talk about how stupid I am I'm here to ask what (if any) are the symptoms of ESD damage on a GPU. Thanks in advance.

Yea, if any damage occured, it probably would be sudden death. It most likely won't even turn on if any damage was done.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
