Oh and overclock the F*** out of that graphics card, the best 980 on the market

That sounds like a solid build 2 me for a LAN pc! I would say its maybe a little overkill maybe go for a 4690k and a 970 insted for 1080 and 720 resolouitions! I would say thats perfect for 1440 though......(with a little 4k throwen in)

The 4790K and the 980 SC ACX is easier to get since i have them lying around somewhere in the Office! I don't mind Overkill haha

At least it has handle.

I agree, Robust Handle is definitely a good touch to have for LAN PC's but i prefer a better design over that, Sorry!

Oh and overclock the F*** out of that graphics card, the best 980 on the market

I'm not sure about the water cooling one.... I think it's going to be hard installing it (and messy), not sure though but if it fits well then it'll be great!

That sounds like a solid build 2 me for a LAN pc! I would say its maybe a little overkill maybe go for a 4690k and a 970 insted for 1080 and 720 resolouitions! I would say thats perfect for 1440 though......(with a little 4k throwen in)

That's good, glad too help

True, I might have to have the case Modded a bit. Should work amazing after that.

If you want an actual small ITX case, look at the Silverstone SST-ML07B.

You might have to change a couple of the components though.

And to the recommendations above, I see you guys never built ITX cases. Never, EVER put an AIO into a case with only one exhaust fan and a powerful GPU. Unless you pick a blower style GPU ofc.

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1241 V3 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($264.95 @ SuperBiiz)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-L9i 57.5 CFM CPU Cooler  ($44.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Z97I-PLUS Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($148.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($104.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked Video Card  ($549.00 @ NCIX US)
Case: Silverstone ML07B HTPC Case  ($67.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: Silverstone 450W 80+ Bronze Certified SFX Power Supply  ($59.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Add a couple of nice NF-F12's for airflow and you're golden(brown).

This one looks just as good, The case even somewhat looks like a console horizontally haha. Might be going for this, I already have a 4790K lying around though so was thinking of using that in this one, thoughts?

Hmm, You might want to go with a Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B in that case

Here is a dutch build-guide. It should all fit. Google translate, or just look at the pictures. :)

If you're going to bring it for LAN's, you might also want to place two LED fans in the sidepanel for bling-effect

Yup, Thanks. Going to definitely deck it out with all the LED action it can get.
