Yes it does. This mainboard has to have a speaker, it's not onboard. Usually onboard speakers are on high end and prebuilt systems. You can go ahead and pick it up on eBay if you lost it, however it SHOULD come with one.

The motherboard has 2 things, a booklet and a brochure and they have conflicting info. Is it possible that the case has the speaker on it? I have the corsair spec 01 and according to the brochure the audio front panel connector has connections for a speaker and a buzzer

The CASE usually comes with a speaker/beeper.

The speaker comes with a speaker? Seems legit. I assume you meant case or motherboard or something

LOL sorry I mean the case.

Its not in the box that comes with the case so would it be built in?

No, I doubt it unless MSI had a major mainboard revision.

Don't sweat it, though. The speaker is not that important, and you can pick one up here:

Normally there is an error screen if anything goes wrong prior to booting to the OS. Other than that, no, not really. But I'd just order it. I lost mine ages ago and my PC is still running fine.

Buy or not to buy, that is the question

The motherboard speaker is usually included in the case accessories.

Some newer, and budget-oriented, cases (like the Corsair Spec line-up, and the 200R / 300R) don't include a speaker / beeper.

If this is situation, you need to purchase one yourself if you need / want it.
