Which cables should I get or use?

Dual link DVI will support 144hz

Something tells me a company would get their pants sued off if they sold a product, claimed it could do 144hz,

but doesnt even have the connections for it...

I want to get this 144 hz monitor and run it in 2d. It only supports DVI, D-Sub and HDMI. This is a problem, right?

DVI-D dual link.

Your GPU should have a port for that.
