I have a windows disk. I have used the code on it already for this computer. I also used it on another computer but it would constantly ask me to verify windows or something like that I haven't used the other computer so I don't remember what it said. In a week or so whenever my graphics card arrives I will be building a computer but having to wait till the 1st of the month until I can buy windows. Is it possible to reuse the windows disk I have and have it not show up with that verify windows thing? Its windows 8.1 by the way just in case that is important knowledge

You install Windows as a trial. Simply, when you install Windows, don't put in a product key, and it should give you a 90 day trial.

If it doesn't allow you to resume the setup, it is probably due to the license you have, you get Windows 8 or 7 90-day trial here:

Sure. Sorry about this.

When you install Windows, there is a stage where it asks you to put your product key. If you leave it blank, you should be able to hit the 'Next' button. This should install your Windows as a 90-day trial. It wont' ask you to activate or anything like that. If you can't hit that 'Next' button as it is disabled as you dont have a valid product key entered in the setup, then your version of Windows doesn't allow you to install Windows as trial. In such case, simply go on the link on my previous post, to download Windows 90-day trial. install that until you are able to buy Windows license and have it in hand to format your system and re-install Windows.

So when I install it 90 days after installing it will ask for a product key and if I have one I can just enter and I have windows?
