Quiet office workstation + 4k

racerking

HI All,

I just purchased a new mac mini fully loaded to only find out I can't do 4k in 60hz.

All I want is a nice small form factor for work with a 1 TB SSD and able to process 4k 60hz for my Dell UP2414Q monitor.

Alienware offers a nice pc but only 512 SSD.

My question is what would you recommend? I'm thinking to just build a custom pc with really good fans and cooling but still very quiet.

The PC is mainly office work, email, and photo editing.

Thank you,

Anthony

If that's all you need, then just get a mini-ITX setup with a good air cooler.

The projects never end in my line of work.

You'll need a good CPU cooelr and case fans like the ones from Noctua or bequiet.

The GPU and the PSU should be semi-passive to avoid additional noise. And as you already said, a SSD only, no HDDs.

who cares...
