1333mghz ram

I need RAM badly and all i can get is some 1333mghz from my old dell stuido xps 8000, its really old it has a first gen i7 i think, i can only get 4gb of it cuz my dad still uses it sometimes, will this drastically decrease gaming performance? I have a pentium g3258, a evga gtx750ti, and the mobo is the asrock z97 extreme 3. Would overclocking the RAM be reccomended to 1600mghz?

1333mhz and 1600mhz barely have a difference, and I doubt you will notice it.

I just said it would.... you will barely notice though, if you can only afford 1333mhz its fine to go with that.
