custom pc build £500

I have been trying to find the right combination of parts for a while now, my only hindrance was my budget.

my main use for the computer would be some moderate gaming and school work.

the link below is the parts list that I have put together with the help of the PC part picker community, so now I am coming here to see if there are any other alterations that can be made.

Unless you plan on overclocking (which, given by the lack of third party cooler, you shouldn't.) you could get an i5-4460 and H97 motherboard. Would save you some money.

At no point did I say he had to. Do note the total price; 522, not 500 (or less.) Hence, OP could be trying to save some money. Just to recap, I never said he had to.

The only thing I would say is... could you stretch to the 4690k? It's basically the same thing, but it is newer and it's only £5 more
