PC for my friend any suggestions ?

Hello a classmate of mine want's a tower. Hes using a Laptop right know.

He want's to to stream league of legends and triple a titles.

in the future he plants to buy a capture card but for know just the tower. 

 

His Budget is 1500€ (+ 100€ if need be.) 

No peripherals needed.

He has no knowledge about over clocking so do I.

 

The Case he likes to use is atx aerocool ds 200 (

 

I recently bought a asus's gtx 970 strix but he also thinks about a gtx 980. 

Whats better for his needs ? Do you have a idea ? 

If possible it should be quiet and upgradeable.

He needs an os too. but win 7 should be enough ass he will be upgrading to win 10 when it is out. 

and i although forgot to mention he will use two monitors but only one to game and no 4K stuff.

Monitor is 1920 x 1080 so full HD. Main monitor is 27 inch and second is 24 inch

That is good to know that 1080p needs only the gtx 970.

 

I think 8 gig of ram is fin but my friend asks if 16 gig would be a benefit or just wasted money as he will stream and maybe for that, needs to do some video editing. 

 

The budget would allow for 16 gig of ram, but I never needed more than 8 gig

Considering that video rendering is not his focus, 16gbs shouldn't be needed. If he'll do some serious video works, with a lot of transitions, then he may as well get it.

 

At any rate, it's easier to upgrade RAM later than other parts, so leave it at 8gbs for now.

Ok that is an option that sounds nice. He can deiced what he wants for himself it's in his budget range.
