Why would it be fake?

That is why I said if you have any suggestions... Then put it forward.

If they are doing work that they are being paid for, and need a dedicated GPU for it, get a Quadro or FirePro. Titans aren't supported by many modeling programs, for example Solidworks. If you're building a workstation, get workstation grade hardware.

You're not going to be able to fit all 5 of those PCIe devices. SLI mode on the Titans is likely bridged across slots 1 & 3 (most X99 boards are configured this way for x16 operation). You'll also run into some pretty significant temp issues if you completely populate the PCIe slots. I can't imagine why someone would need 4.8TB of PCIe storage. One OCZ R4 should be more than sufficient for using as a scratch disk/working file drive (assuming rendering/video production here). The completed file can be sent to a RAID array on standard platters. Any internet upload speed would be the bottleneck on moving around completed files, unless you were planning on using a 10gig NIC to transfer to a local file server (which I don't see in the options list).

Overkill build is overkill. 2 titans and one OCZ R4 is more than sufficient for nearly anything. If you have a specific use case for this person please detail what it is, as right now it just seems like this is a bogus build.

i'd rather use nvidia quadro or firepro instead rather than titan Z. and maybe some dual xeon setup.

but to be honest, this system is quite overkill for your 'heavy work'.
