1080p vs 1440p

I have a 24 inch 1080p monitor and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get a 27 inch 1440p monitor for gaming???? Any thoughts or experiences would be nice... Thanks

If your GPU could handle it, totally! I have only ever used on that was like a tester in a store and It was really really nice.

Just for gaming? Not really. 600 to 700 dollars could be better spent. If you're into productivity, then YES.
