How does your system compare?

This seem to be the best section to post this in since it has the benchmarks pinned to the top. So i stumble upon this site http://www.userbenchmark.com/and thought it was fun to play with and see how your system compares to others. It's funny how they compare components to sea vessels, my gaming/graphics got a rating of a raft  , but everything else was much higher so good luck.

Here is my system

UserBenchmark PC Test Results

System Status: 82% - Excellent. Overall Score: 98% - Nuclear submarine.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K - Status 81%, Speed 101.2%.

HDD: WD Blue 1TB (2012) - Status 82%, Speed 106.3%.

HDD: Toshiba MK4058GSX 400GB - Status 75%, Speed 29.2%.

SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB - Status 81%, Speed 115%.

GPU: Nvidia GTX 460 - Status 92%, Speed 27%.

To be honest I hadn't heard of it till just now. I was looking at different CPU benchmarks and found this site and thought it had more accurate data compared to others so I thought I would share.

True, its layout isn't the best, but I think it is about as equally bad as CPU boss

Ares did alright. The benchmark does it no justice though since it's actually pretty damn fast for what it is.

!Sub-optimal ambient CPU load. These results have reduced accuracy because the CPU was active before the benchmark even started. Check CPU load with windows task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC). <----------?????

Might as well toss my laptop into the mix...

http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/175916

Anyway, I need to point out; only the first DX9 test uses SLI. All the rest run single GPU only, so SLI rig users are kind of left in the dust there. It's the program's fault; as I'm on latest drivers too. But it's food for thought about the "graphics power" ranking it gives.

Those who got a higher CPU score than me with i5s, what is your frequency?

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

THE INFORMATION GUIDES: SLI INFORMATION || vRAM INFORMATION || MOBILE i7 CPU INFORMATION || Maybe more someday

@Imabigmac

A component achieves a status of 75% when it's faster than 75 out of 100 results for the same component.

PC status is the average status of all the components in a system. When a system has a low status score its components are underperforming.

Causes of poor system status

Poor system status can be caused by either software or hardware. Software problems usually stem from rogue applications silently draining system resources.

CPU

  • Overheating (particularly in laptops) - remove dust near air vents with a vacuum.
  • Reduced battery power can put CPUs into a lowered performance state.
  • Running stock clocks on an unlocked (K, Black) CPU - many users will have overclocked.
  • High background CPU utilization - identify and terminate any offending applications.

Drives

  • USB: USB 3.0 components on USB 2.0 ports limit peak speed to 35 MB/s.
  • SSD, HDD: SATA 3 components on SATA 2 ports limit peak speed to 285 MB/s.
  • SSD, HDD, USB: high background I/O - identify and terminate the offending programs.
  • SSD, HDD, USB: RAM caching is enabled either via software (e.g. Samsung RAPID), driver error, device malfunction or via windows write cache buffer settings. Drives with these settings expose the system to data loss in the event of a power outage as they rely on temporary RAM rather than persistent storage. These results are disqualified.

GPU

  • NVIDIA Optimus/AMD switchable graphics drivers switching to an IGP rather than using the discrete "M" card.
  • High background CPU utilization can throttle a GPU.

@Schoolofmonkey

I was browsing the latest benchmarks and came across yours before you posted and I knew someone was about to show off....I wonder who that could be??

Wasn't my intentions...maybe... :D

Still strange I only got Battleship on the workstation score...
