Workstation PC Number crunching, virtual machines, bitcoin mining, audio/video encoding. 40%*CPU WBench + 20%*GPU Bench + 25%*SSD Bench + 15%*HDD Bench

(CPU WBench = 5% Single core, 5% Dual core, 90% Multi core) <------ Looks like you need more cores lol

Well I'm thinking of dropping some money on a i7 5930K system in July, that might help.

Or maybe I shouldn't be encoding a video and doing a steam update in the background next time, could also explain the lower score on my WD Black compared to my Seagate drive.

Will try a rerun when its done...

This seem to be the best section to post this in since it has the benchmarks pinned to the top. So i stumble upon this site http://www.userbenchmark.com/and thought it was fun to play with and see how your system compares to others. It's funny how they compare components to sea vessels, my gaming/graphics got a rating of a raft  , but everything else was much higher so good luck.

Here is my system

UserBenchmark PC Test Results

Apparently I'm rocking a nuclear submarine

Total price is off by a factor of 2. Wish they used their estimator where I bought my hardware.

LOL just realized why it's so low, definitely don't have a 5820k.

Desktop 104%

Gaming 105%

Workstation 61%

Component Status 71%

CPU: i5 4690K, Status - 93% Bench - 105%

GPU: GTX 980 Status - 75% Bench - 109%

HDD: Hitachi UltrStar 7K4000 2TB Status - 89% Bench - 94.2% Previously hit 100% and 96.2%. This drive puts raptors in their place when it comes to sequential R/W, same can't be said about 4K R/W though :/.

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB. After eventually realising that SSDs should be connected to the Intel SATA ports (something that no one seems to mention anywhere ). Status - 92% Bench - 105%

SSD: Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB Status - 75% Bench - 77.3%

HDD: WD Black 1TB Status - 3% LMAO Bench - 53.1%. In its defence, there's only like 50GB left on the drive because the drive I planned to use for media was terrible and just wasn't up to the task.

Don't mind the completely overkill mobo, picked it up off a friend for about £100 :P
