So I'm taking this class at a local college, and it's about some networking shiz and whatnot, the problem is, it's an online class, the teacher does nothing, and I haven't really learned anything so far. Anyway, I'm trying to answer some homework questions that were supposedly pre-written, and I got stumped by this one (copy and pasted word for word)

"Describe the things you should consider when selecting media for a network?"

Can anyone answer this or point me in the right direction? The question doesn't really make much sense, and it's not well worded... Thanks Obama.

The format. Not every device plays all formats.

Size. You have to stream a file over a network, obviously.

resolution. Ties in with the size, but it needs to look decent too.
