What is the difference between DDR3-1866 and DDR3-1600. I see that 1600 is cheaper O.o http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/memory/#X=0,10062

A tid faster memory clocks, but it wont affect your performance too much.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

The speed in which you can read and write data to RAM is faster. It's a noticeable difference if you're gaming on integrated graphics, but with a dedicated GPU it doesn't matter.

I believe 1866Mhz is a faster clock speed compared to 1600Mhz. OR 1866 could be referring to The Order 1886 but they messed up with the number.

LOL

If your computer supports DualChannel memory then get 2x4GB sticks. If it doesn't then get 1x8GB

whats that?

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"
