SLI CPU?

Go to solution Solved by Jumper118,

So I have pretty much enough money to buy the new build I'm thinking of and was originally going to use an Intel i5 4690 but out of curiosity I thought I'd look into the AMD FX 8359 and found it pretty on par with the intel CPU, but I couldn't find any substantial infomation about how these both perform under a GTX 970 SLI (Yes I'm still going to buy a 970) so can you guys help me out on whether it's worth another 60 bucks to get the intel CPU or the AMD one is fine - won't bottleneck the graphics.

Danka.

the amd one will have worse performance in most games.

Well, at least not until Zen...

By then intel CPUs could also be much better, isn't that for the end of 2016? We really don't know what will happen by then.
