How well would a E6420 hold up by todays standards for web browsing and other light tasks?

For light tasks, it should be fine. Tried running my folk's on a dual monitor setup with the dock and it freaked out.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Ah.. Looks nice. That's more then enough for sure.

I ran GTA 4, Farcry 3, etc. on medium/high settings with an E6700 and 5770 before.

solid a 7 dollar freenas looks pretty decent imo
