What are your thoughts on youtubers. Do you think they are ungrateful. Youtube is a easy job? Hard job? They get paid too much. I heard predispose gets 10 million a year...

I would like to hear your thoughts on youtubers in general

i'm pretty sure they will post videos a little bit less since they will have to find a new job. but i'm pretty sure all the snobby youtubers only there for money will leave and their fans will bash them. 10 million a year sounds way too much tbh. not sure how google will get profits from that.

Whatever you hear online along the lines of "Youtuber Y makes X amount of money!", it's wrong.

Youtube won't stop paying youtubers, why should they? Without content their website is worthless, they already take a fairly large cut on ad-revenue so there's literally no point.

The "job" of a youtuber is as hard or as easy as they want it to be. Youtube is mostly personality driven, so if you manage to get an audience they're usually just there for you. So you can have shitty production values and invest very little time and still earn quite a bit of money. Of course you can also invest in better production quality and better content, and that's probably the better idea for long-term business, but it'll probably not matter as much as you think.

they will move onto better things, maybe Yahoo Screen will finally get its chance as the youtube killer it hopes to be... like never. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Youtube was never been made to make money out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Youtube was only to share you're talents or vids. adsends is only small a part of youtube and always will be.

The youtubers most of the people in my school talk about make the shittiest videos ever. like there's no real point to them. So they don't deserve to be paid.

If YouTube doesn't pay anymore, then it will go back to how YouTube was like many, many years ago.

 

People will make video's because they enjoy making content. And not for the sake of getting food on the table.

 

For people like Linus then this would be devastating. But in terms of general channels, then I would almost prefer it.

For the big youtubers that that isn't going to be a problem.

Viewers will always find a way to support the creators they like.

I do have Linus's channels and all the other youtubers I watch in the ABP whitelist.

The thing that's keeping me from disabling it in all of youtube are pre-load ads, those things annoy me, if only they started muted.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.
