I'd lose the ODD and get a cheaper non-modular psu and go with a 4690k+z97 board (and pick up a cooler when you can afford one).

Those G230's are good for the price IMO. The microphone is, however, one of the bad mics I've used - it's not unusable, but it's just bad. You get what you pay for, though.

 

Also, what's your budget? Someone here may be able to get you something better, possibly.

I am about to buy this build tonight. I want a sff gaming pc that plays AAA titles at 60fps at 1080p. Let me know about anything I am missing or incompatibilities. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GmL2f7

Saved you 50 bucks, I dare you to notice the performance difference. Go spend it on something more useful then 1-3 FPS.

 

Fully modular PSU as well that's much better quality then Corsair CX.

Budget is right around 1200 USD and i can get to a microcenter

You'll want a modular PSU in a 250D, or pretty much any mITX case for that matter.

The 250D is quite large; a non-modular psu would work fine.
