Get 4 R9 290x-s or something.

Create enough heat to boil some water.

Make the water vapors go through a turbine, which is connected to a generator which creates energy.

Ba dum tsss.

You made your own renewable energy source!

No, just kidding.

The above methods are fine, but in all honesty just use your brain learn something via Linda.com then get a career, design some software and market it, create youtube videoes, ect are all more likely to make you more money in the longrun... if you really want a lazy way out of life, do what my parents did/do move to a big city filled with ghettoes buy cheap houses repair them and rent them out... once you make a sustainable income off that you're basically set for life just makesure to always keep somesavings incase something breaks or a tenant runs out on you and to increase this possibly depending on just howbad the neighborhood is, install solar panels ontop of the houses

Well, I don't directly pay for electricity. I pay x amount per month and as long as I don't go over that amount I don't pay any more or less. And running my computer 24/7 won't put me over that edge; thus, it's free.

That is fair enough then, but really there is not much you can do to guarantee a money stream while you sit and watch tv or whatever, otherwise we would all be doing it

Well, most people pay for electricity -- but I'm not expecting to make a living from it, but rather some extra/random spending money -- even $1/day would probably be worthwhile seeing as there isn't much of a downside to it.

yeah 99.99 % of people :P

I don't even think you can do that, if there was a way to do that, everyone would be doing it, GPU mining is probably the only thing that springs to mind, but GPU mining is completely worthless these days

You can fold and help the world in the long run, you won't make money obviously, but knowing you're doing something good for the world will just warm your heart. Isn't that the true meaning of being rich? Happiness and wealth for the world isn't just money, it's doing good things to help the world and make lives better.

keep in mind that you PC needs more power when in use while you PC wont get you over the edge when idle it might not be so when under load.
