$1500 Build (New Builder)

I been wanting to build a PC for a while now and I started to save up last month. I have a good/moderate knowledge on how to do so and what parts I should look out for. I want this to be my college PC and I want to game on it and I also want to be able to work on it if necessary. 

My budget is around $1500 and I think that is a reasonable amount to build a good gaming powerhouse. I already have a good 1440p monitor and all the peripherals needed, (headset, mouse, keyboard, etc...) 

OH yeah I also want a red/black color scheme...

and yes I want to overclock...

My location is in North east America but I plan to order everything online.

would get 8GB ram for now but atleast 250GB SSD, trust me I made the same mistake

i like everything about this system some will say get 8gb of ram but nowadays realisticly 16 is better

What 1440p Monitor do you have ?

BenQ GW2765HT 27" Widescreen LED-Backlit LCD IPS Monitor (Black), I got this monitor for 250$ on black friday and I have been using it, I don't know why I said 1080p monitor in my signature lol...
