Anyone can give me any more advice on my OC? This is the OC i got from 290x (anyone else has a 290x could you post your OC result below? :D)

Would maxing out the core voltage and power limit be really bad for my card?

All the results you could ever dream of are here ;)

There is only 1 290x result and it thermal throttles at stock voltages D:

Is performance unsatisfactory at factory settings?

I wouldn't OC if I didn't need extra performance. Stressing your GPU may potentially shorten its lifespan.

It's more of a why not option LOL

Well i am planning to get 144hz monitor and my bf4 fluctuates ard 90-100FPS so yeah! OCing do kinda help!

Over 90fps you will reap the benefits of a 144Hz panel. 144Hz isn't just about being able to output 144fps. The major benefit is that the frames get displayed in a more timely manner, making tearing almost unnoticeable and you observe a smoother image.

I'm sure you have seen gameplay footage at 60fps and noticed the difference from traditional 24fps videos.

The kicker is, an uploader sees no difference on his screen when he records 24/30fps or 60fps. But a viewer will most certainly notice the difference.

Expect the same phenomenon when switching to a 144Hz monitor. You don't need anything close to 144fps to see the difference.

Hmmm good point...

But OCing is so fun to me! :D Linus himself mentioned that OC is basically free performance when done right!

My brother has his R9 290 OC'ed to 1130, although he doesn't have the Memory OC'ed since he's using a Kraken G10.
