Gaming/Video Editing laptop?

CosmicMeteor

Hello, I am looking for a good laptop and have no idea where to start.

My budget is about 900$ - 1,000$ (If lower is possible I would love to know!)
I will be using it for Gaming and light video editing.

Something professional or elegant looking as well.

Size is no matter.  ;)

1080p is fine! Don't need none of that fancy 4k stuff Haha.

"But cosmic why would you want a laptop for gaming and video editing?"
"Well kind sir! I wan't it for when I am on the go and not around my 1,700$ Custom Built PC"

Couldn't find a forum for this so I am sorry if its in the wrong place.

I like it but my issue is with the SSD. I want fast boot speeds but I also want more space then that. :P I also don't need touch screen at all.

Grab one of these: http://www.amazon.com/WoneNice-caddy-9-5mm-Universal-DVD-ROM/dp/B004Y8SGXW/ref=pd_sim_pc_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=097KAR6C0XHFJVR7NNSK

slap an HDD into it, and replace the ODD with it.

I have one, and it works wonders.

There is a SSD version of both, but It will be pricer.

Edit: not to mention that they will only have a SSD not a HDD, the only why you can get both a SSD and a HDD would be if you place a SSD in the place of the optical drive.
