I'm soon joining the #pcmasterrace! Don't have to work on the fields anymore as a peasant!

What do you guys think of my new and first PC?

If you want to know what the case looks like, here: http://cdon.se/hemelektronik/cooler-master/chassi-tower-cooler-master-n300-mid-tower-black-no-psu-atx-p23566606

I picked that PSU because it's on sale in Sweden so don't ask about it.

The RAM are currently the same price as a normal 1600Mhz RAM set so don't mention it.

I could've gone with a i5-4460 and a cheap MOBO since I can't overclock but the FX-8320 benefits me more and I think will probably be better with a long run.

I could've also gone with a i5-4690k and the cheapest overclocking MOBO but that would require me to cheap out on the graphics card and more load is being put on the GPU when DirectX12 comes.

And please, no Intel/Nvidia fanboys comment, I've seen TWO and I don't want to see more.

Uh... my guess is that prices in Sweden are screwed up? Because there's no way that RAM was the correct choice.

Also, "#pcmasterrace" refers to a gaming pc, and the FX just straight up SUCKS for gaming, when compared to i5s, so it won't benefit you at all. In fact, it'll be even worse, as it also consumes more power.

And please forget DX12. It's a mith.

You are a clown if you think dx12 is a"mith".  It's basically already caught up to mantle like performance in test and it's far from release. The 8320 is actually more powerful than an i5 if you take the power of all cores into consideration, which dx12 will do. It's not a terrible choice to save money.

Dx 12 is only useful if the game is built to support it. It will take quite a while for that to happen, considering that it isn't even out yet. Also, while the FX does have more raw data output, it depends on what data is actually being compared. As an analogy, SSDs can have crazy speeds on paper; but you'll never see that, due to the kind of use normal folks would have.

I'll be recommending AMD cpus again, once they realize that they have to release new products to stay competitive. But until then, it's Intel all day.

You do realize it will come out this year and I don't think anyone has any doubt that right out of the gate all big game devs are going to use it, there is no reason not to. The point is in a year he will have a cpu that is just as effective as one that costs nearly twice the price.

When I said it benefits me, I meant that it benefits me in what I want to do
