Depends on your market. 9 times out of 10, it'll not be worth it as people see gaming systems as nothing more than a luxury item and will hardly ever utilize them. It will make more sense for them to buy a console. However, if you do have the skills to attract them to the benefits, then it may be worth a shot.

I have this question going on around my head - Is it actually worth making gaming PC for about £1000-2000 and selling them to make a profit?

If you put Windows on them and stuff.. Possibly..

But if you do it on a small scale; probably not. You have to deal with customers bringing back their PC and troubleshooting and stuff..
