I have a few build options for a friend who wants to get into PC gaming he has a strict budget of 700-850 dollars. He plans to do some moderate gaming at 1080p and some video editing (though very light). Here are the three builds I've thought of.

the 1st one,

get a non-k processor eg i5-4590
no need for the cooler 
you can get the windows for a better price 

with that money get a 970

the 1st one,

Anyway, here. I threw in the r9 290. We can still cut a little bit on the PSU, if needed, as well as MIRs. Have fun.
