So my mate has been using a cheap family pc (i3, 4gb ram etc) to do 4k rendering.... i know.

he is willing to save up around 2k AUD and isn't interested in Gaming but purely for his editing. he said that he would like a big ssd for his current project to sit on while working on it (he said 500gb should be fine but i think 250gb would be better option) I know he will need an i7 due to the fact he uses Adobe Premiere Pro and will need 16GB of RAM... i'm not sure what GPU is good for solely editing though, which is my main concern. he said he has plenty of external storage but i think he needs 2-3tb internal HDD for his hoarding habits. He said he wanted Windows 8.1Pro 64-bit included in the budget.

Im not sure what else i need to include in this (if i missed anything just tell me)due to the editing side of this build, help would be great :D cheeeeers
