Some background: My PSU was DOA. My replacement is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I am a first time builder.

Before I build in my case, I want to do a outside the case build. I wasn't going to do it until tomorrow night since my PSU won't be here until tomorrow, but I tried it today. I wanted to get a feel for it, and I had nothing else to do on a lazy Sunday. I installed the CPU, RAM and video card. Once I did that, it was time to uninstall everything. I started with the video card. I had to stand up to do this. When I did, I leaned over the MOBO a bit and my shirt touched the MOBO. I heard what sounded like a crinkling noise. I was using an anti static wristband, which was connected to my case. I guess that didn't do anything for my shirt, though. I fear that I may have discharged my shirt's static electricity into my MOBO. i won't be able to do a test boot to know for sure until tomorrow night when I have my PSU.

Do you think I killed my MOBO?

Any chance of it being damaged?

There's a chance of anything really, although i wouldn't worry about it

So there's a very small chance...
