I am lacking funds cause im spending the vast majority of my cash on the tower around £800. I was looking at the raptor k30 and the corsair m45 and was wondering if they are worth the buy.

They are both pretty good.

I hear quite some people say the K30 is the best membrane.

I'd go with the CM Storm Devastator for the time being and upgrade when you have the funds to do so

I know the M45 is. Although it's a bit small for my taste. Dunno bout the keyboard.

Both are great. K30 is one of the best membrane keyboards and the M45 is the M65 (favorite mouse of mine) with a GREAT sensor minus the sniper button.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Focus all of your money towards the core components of your PC, the things that have a direct impact on your in game performance.  Peripherals are cheap by comparison, and can be easily added at a later date when you get more money.  Taking away money from your tower to use for peripherals is a mismanagement of funds.

That depends on what he wants to do, for watching trees at 30fps with Vsync and idk what AA he probably doesnt even need a mouse, but for halfway serious MP you should have at least something that works with your sensitivity.

A cheap $30 mouse and keyboard combo will get you buy until you have enough money for nicer ones.  It is much better to invest your money into pure performance than peripherals when you are on a budget.  Mouse and keyboard can always be added later and for relatively cheap.  A new CPU or GPU is not as cheap.

I have tried mechanical switch boards and tbh i dont like them anymore tahn i like membrane, as for my components i have already decided exactly what the tower will contain and it will play everything i want on ultra at good fps for thee 2 years i need before upgradding my gpu again, I am wondering if the k30 and m45 are good not if they are worse than a different product

What is your build? Your budget?  Your intended use?

My intended use would be gaming, im buying a cheaper keyboard and a good mouse because that will effect performance in the best way and im spending the bulk of my budget on the system itself for the best possible performance. Membrane may not be as good as mechanical for feel but in games it wont affect performance in any detrimental way
