MXL V67G Condenser (Do I really need an Amp?)

Hello guys,

 

So I've heard that I need an Amplier to get my condeser to work, however I've also seen that you can XLR to USB cables?

Does anyone have any experience with this ?

generally not, condensers are usually very sensitive anyway, I run my yeti at like 5% recording volume
