700$ pc build

Go to solution Solved by SteveGrabowski,

This is absolutely unbeatable in your price range for the parts you need. Someone please post a stronger gaming build than this for the money. I don't think you can.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($219.89 @ OutletPC)

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card  ($269.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: XFX 650W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($51.99 @ NCIX US)

You'll want to add a better heatsink later on for overclocking. Something like a Hyper 212 EVO. Of course this is assuming you can fit that 290 into your case. What is the specific case you have?

Anyways, the i5-4690k + Z97 platform has come so far down in price that it's definitely worth it now to get one of the top gaming CPUs. The R9 290 is a monstrous GPU. The XFX power supply is an excellent Seasonic rebrand.

@Happypap55 's list is a bit better than mine. Just need to make sure that B85 BIOS is shipping with a Haswell Refresh ready BIOS, you should be able to find out by e-mailing the retailer. The only benefit to mine is the HIS R9 280X seems to have better quality control.
