Which sensor type optical or laser is better in general for all types gaming? Im currently stuck between the m45 and the m65 but i think the m45 is a better looking mouse.

Optical is technically better, but in all honesty unless you're an actual pro you won't notice a difference

get whichever one you think looks better, they both have good sensors :)

Basically, all laser sensors have random acceleration because the laser has a higher rate of random errors than optical mice. It can be advertised as zero acceleration, but you will be running into the occasional random moment of acceleration. It's one of the main reasons that I switched from my Feenix Nascita to the Steelseries Sensei as my main mouse for my laptop. (My desktop currently uses the Logitech G502, but I'm not a huge fan, so that will probably be changing to the Steelseries Rival, or something like that.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
