My dad bought a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi 5.1 PRO and how does one use it? Like I know that the knob can change volume but what can you do else with it?

You plug in your headphones?

I'm not sure what you mean :P

They only are for headphones? My dad has it plugged in a 5.1 audio system lol. :D I mean like do you have to have a special audio player for it or VLC works too?

No and no.

You can use speakers too and I suppose 5.1 systems too. What connection are you using?

And no, you can use WIndows Media Player too, why would you?

Nope, there was a lot installed from the cd

1. Plug audio thing into computer

2. Plug audio noise maker into the audio thing

3. Receive noise from the audio noise maker

There's really nothing special required. <.<

Do I have to use diffrent audio player or VLC works too?

You can always try installing the driver for some extra functionality. But to hear things you just need to make sure its correctly installed and selected as default device.
