My 9590 is at 95*C 

Normal I max out at 67*C but know it's like

87-101*C.I have a XSPC custom loop on CPU only.I know it's not afterburner problems cuz' literately I feel the damn heat.

 

All i'm doing is Google chrome with 6 tabs.I opened task manager and ended every task in sight and anyways it says only 6% CPU usage.

I changed thermal paste last week.

I changed from Noctua L9i Thermal Paste To Innovation Cooling 7 Karat Diamond Paste

re-seat cooler then / check fans on rad / see if you can hear water flowing through the pump

It's clear tubes water flowing

And now I went from 5.202GHz Core Clock speed to turbo 6.012GHz and it's just sitting there.

When I get 6.0 turbo I never got 95*C

I only maxed at 81*C

I dont think it will turbo you to 6ghz?

If it does, disable turboing... Max safe should be 5.5 ghz for this chip, period

Either you pushed the voltage up way too high, or you did something wrong in that reseating process.

I changed it last week and I was getting normal temps till like 5 mins ago

How does someone get 6ghz on a watercooling loop?

Underclock it man

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

I pushed it to 6 lawl

NVM IT'S NOT 6GHZ it's 5.7.It went to 6 on those few mins and NOW im getiiing 89*C but still not normal

DUDE KEEP IT MAX AT 5.5 GHZ. EVNE THAT IS TOO MUCH. You loop cant handle it...

It should be at around 59-63*C

Give it time to cool off, it doesn't do it immediately.

Underclock to 5GHz, that should have been it max turbo.

Dude disable turbo boost and keep it at 5.4 for daily use. 

I can guarentee the chip will die in an year or so

I got it when it first came out.That was 2 years ago and this thing is dying now.Might as well have fun with it while it lasts

How do you rest window 8.1 to the manufacturing default start up?

 

Basically erase everything and start new

Put your mouse in upper right hand corner go to setting go to the last thing and you'll see factory reset over there
