I really didn't know where to put this under so yea I was just on the good ole internet where i caught sight of a way to lower ping and me being with a unpredictable connection and no Ethernet I was interested, but skeptical so has anyone tried it and if so did it work like to know people's thoughts

I have used this program before, it simply reduces the amount of hops you take to get to your preferred gaming server. While it is noticeable, it is not anything i would ever pay for. Once the trial ran out, i was done with it. There are alternatives that do the same thing, but tend to have "free account" quirks that kick you off after 20 minutes, forcing you to restart the program.

I've never used it but my friend has. I will tell you what he used it for and you can base your opinion on that.

So a couple of days ago my friend noticed that he was getting 300 ping lag in League of Legends but in other games his ping was fine. It was either an issue with his ISP or the games servers. He found WTFast and decided to try it out, while it didn't fix his ping completely back to normal it did reduce it significantly (to around 100-110). Considering his ping is normally 80-90 I doubt that it would have made his ping better than usual. So i think it's a good program to fix issues similar to that but I don't think it will really give you a west coast ping if you are on the east coast ( assuming west coast has better ping, which it does in a game like League of Legends).

So yeah, take from what you will.
