with my 280 i need at least 700W according to the page. i have a 750W just in case :) but the radeon cards all say they need 700+ watts of power which is a little weird. my friends both have 280(x)'s and all bought 700+ W PSU just to be safe because as they say on the page 700W min ususally.

Ignore the psu recommendations on the graphics card websites as they are generally highly inflated to cover their butts.
