So I shut down my Pc about 4 hrs ago and the HDD made a loud grinding sound,just tryed to start it up and it tells me to insurt proper boot midea.

Yep, dead hdd or it somehow damaged the OS partition. But if it did the loud griding noise it’s probably fubar.

Do you have warranty on it?

e.g Seagate do recovery for free and put it on the replacement drive i think

its a WD drive and its only 2 months old

You are probably just really unlucky and get a bad drive. My WD black 1TB is running now for almost 11,000 hours and it’s still healthy
