Does chipset matter? If so, which one?

Unless you have a K-CPU it doesn't really matter. But remember, the nicer features come with the more expensive boards, which are at the same time mostly Zx7 chipsets.

 

But if you just want a board to get your stuff running, I'd just get some B75 board.

ide surgest the P8Z77 VLX motherboard By asus i personally have used this motherboard it is excellent and easy to use ! chipset does matter aswell you need one compatible with the LGA 1155 platform

H61 H67 or something like that will do fine though look into a cheap Z77 so you can fit in a 'K' CPU later

That is LGA 1150 not 1155

They are but only Haswell/Broadwell Core i3's.

 

Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge are LGA 1155 and Clarkdale are LGA 1156.
