problems with a mechanical keyboard

i have a razer black widow which is a mechanical keyboard and i love it. But the problem is it is just too loud. My mic is a blue yeti which picks up alot of noise so when the keys make their clicking noise my friends are always complaining of it being to loud. Should i buy a non-mechanical keyboard or is their another option.

I'd go for a mechanical keyboard with MX Browns in it for quiet typing, and I think that clears are pretty quiet too.

You could try some O-Rings too.

you should have got a keyboard with Cherry MX brown switches and some o-ring dampeners.

Get some soft O-rings for your key caps. You can find kits online(WASD has a couple, but they are expensive. Banggood has a pretty cheap kit).

Two solutions, get Browns and put O-rings on them, the other is get a boom arm and position your mic closer to your face.
