HDMI 1.4

Go to solution Solved by Arty,

What's the maximum refresh rate at 1920x1080? I just overclocked my monitor and realized that it could be pointless if the cable doesn't even support it.

120Hz by HDMI bandwidth, but no guarantee the monitor will support it.

My monitor only supports VGA and HDMI, so the choice is obvious there. That's what I get for buying a $100 monitor, heh.

If it's 60Hz native then HDMI over it will allow you to get it as high as you can, because for a $100 monitor you for sure won't be hitting over 96Hz.
