I wouldnt spend the extra $$$ for it.

I wouldn't really say its worth it.

If you just use it as a boot drive, absolutely not.

the difference is that the pro uses MLC flash, which doesnt have the issues of TLC and lasts longer while giving higher speeds and reliability.

the the EVO is great and unless you need the SSD for a server, the 850 EVO will be enough for home.
